I am finding it so amazing how fast this year is rolling along. I began painting a short time ago and we will have a limited number of paintings for this year's Indian Market. There is some new and exciting work that i will be showing soon, so look out for it. Getting to this point was a road, I am telling you! However, the painting is coming along fine now and i find it flowing once again. We are putting all our efforts into the IM show, and there is a new and exciting artist (painter) we will be showing here in the next few days. At least I am excited about it. Ok, I must get back to work now. Please, please forward the update and again your support and concern is a blessing for us here. Thank you from our hearts. Daniel

It has been some time for us here. There are a few updates. Painting has been difficult. I have been spending the bulk of my time with Gert and working on the house. We are finally getting close to finish. We had our internet installed and it has taken about a week to get all the computers updated and connected before we could update the website. So here we are today and i will be promoting more items very soon.
I began on an entirely new and bold series. The first installment is the "aggression / forgiveness" painting. Throughout our recent changes, I have been trying to make sense of my own life and direction as it seems to have gone askew. Aggression and Forgiveness is simply how I feel. If you follow closely, I have decided to make other changes in the paintings regarding my daughter. you will now find SRW as a part of my signature to mark a very significant change in my life and career. I do plan on continuing to paint, and will promote as I can.
We are working on several items. The SWAIA Indian Market is our focus at the moment. We are in the planning stages of the Sage R. Walters Scholarship Foundation. We hope to have the unveiling of this scholarship on February 5, 2008. You will find a short movie of Sage on our promo webpage, just follow the download link.
I know that there are many who have wondered and worried about Gert and I. Thank you for all your support. We have recieved many so good words of encouragement and prayers. We know there is so much more to live for and love.
We will see you at Indian Market. I hope you all are doing well. Stay safe - Daniel

Clientele, Family and Friends, it is with sad and heavy hearts to announce that we lost our eldest child, Sage Rayschell Walters, 24 in a vehicle accident in the early morning of Monday, February 5, 2007. She leaves behind her 4 year old daughter, Aneesa Rain Sanchez, three brothers, Gert and I. Sage was everything that anyone could ask for in a daughter and eldest sibling. She was laid to rest on Friday, February 9, 2007 in her homeland of To'hajiilee, NM.
I plan on adding a new page to the Navajo Visions website for information about Sage and events regarding honoring her work. Sage was a Prevention Technician for Behavioral Health Services in Tohajiilee, NM. Her death has had a large impact on the youth of the community of To'hajiilee, her target audience and concern.
Due to this life-changing event, we will only be directing our attention at attending the SWAIA Indian Market, located in Santa Fe, NM in August 2007. Commission work will continue as it can be handled. Your understanding is greatly appreciated.
For those who have help and supported us throughout this phase in our lives, please know that we greatly appreciate it.
If you have questions or wish to write please do not hesitate.
Until my next update. please stay safe and thank you for your support.
- Daniel
